Hello, I have read some reviews of this mouse and they list the weight without the cable...does that mean the cable is removable? In this transition time with many laptops having only USB-C ports, it would be nice if I could switch between USB-A and -C without having to use a clunky adapter.

Also please let me know what version of macos this supports. I am running macos 14 (sonoma). Apple has made some big changes since MacOS X and now and I would like to be sure the software will work on current OS releases.
