I've tried changing the ownership and permissions to read the files in the "protected" windows apps files and even though I can access them, the X1 control panel cannot. Even when I run it as admin. I am able to navigate to the folders but when I try to click the .exe it gives a permission error. I really think I just need to know what the X1 control panel is using to "access" these files so that I can grant it the permissions to read the .exe. Any help here would be appreciated as I've been beating my head against my desk for months now trying to fix this.
