Firmware Update "Please ensure that you have closed SwiftpointDriver." message
I seem to be going in circles trying to update the firmware on my new "Z" mouse. Either the upgrade app closes without doing anything or the mouse locks up and I get a failed update message. What exactly is the "SwiftpointDriver"? A dialog tells me to "Please ensure that you have closed SwiftpointDriver." Huh? Close a driver? Usually drivers are installed and that's that, I don't recall ever "closing" a driver. Update a driver, yes. Install or uninstall a driver, yes. But "close a driver?" Huh? Quitting the "Swiftpoint X1 Control Panel" application results in no upgrade. In situations like this I'm accustomed to a second executable being launched which continues with the upgrade/update after the launching application is closed. In other words I was expecting the Swiftpoint X1 Control Panel to either upgrade the mouse firmware or launch a second executable that does. Neither seems to be happening. Thanks
