High DPI - for Engineering (and gaming)
I have been lusting after SwiftPoint products for several yeas now, but my use case (CAD and CGI) requires very high precision. I have found in the knowledge base a mention that ProPoint has DPI of 1200, while an article about the profiles implies that the DPI can be set up to 12,000. That.s a 10x difference! Granted, my current mouse is at 12,000 DPI, and I am desperately looking to upgrade to 16k or 20k DPI.
So, what is the real PDI of ProPoint?
And, how can I inspire the company to consider the (very lucrative) Engineering and Gaming markets?
I mean, it's a matter of will, not of technology: high DPI sensors are commercially available and re a great excuse to justify a premium price for a premium product. Just look at Mad Catz if you have any doubts :-)
