Hi all,
I came across the Swiftpoint Z3 on their Facebook ads recently. Never heard of the brand before until now, which is funny because I live in New Zealand, where the company is based.
Anyway, I sent their sales team an email (more like filing a ticket), as I had a few questions that I wanted clarified before I buy it. Been a couple of days now, still haven't received a response yet.
Is their response in general pretty slow? Is this normal?
Also, I've just gone through some threads about issues related to the dongle and that doesn't seem good. How has this passed their quality inspection? For such an expensive mouse, I would think the standards would be quite high, certainly not have these issues on the first month of release. I own a couple of Logitech MX Master 3s and 4 and they're pricey but nowhere near the level of a Swiftpoint, and I've had no problems with the mouse at all.
My other question is regarding the X1 software. Can this be installed without admin rights? I'm thinking of using the mouse for productivity on my work laptop, which is locked down. I can't install apps on it. The alternative for me is to customize the mouse on my personal laptop and save it to the onboard memory. However, I have no idea whether there are limitations with this and whether certain features/functionalities will still require the X1 software. Can anyone confirm?
Lastly, does anyone know if shipping is the same across the world? I live in NZ, so I imagine shipping would be cheaper as it's local, but it's crazy expensive for a small parcel being shipped locally.
UPDATE - August 13th 2026
Just watched this review and it seems like there's a common complaint about issues related to the wireless dongle.
https://youtu.be/CVqax2V07Zw?t=686How is it that there's already at least 3~4 (or more) people complaining about issues with their dongle either not getting detected, or the mouse having lag when using wireless mode? If all of this passed their QA testing/inspection, then it really makes me question their attention to detail, quality, and how rigorous their testing process is. A premium mouse that commands a premium price should have high standards and this clearly isn't showing that. This is really disappointing and frustrating.
I would suggest everyone who is interested in getting this to do some research, read the forum posts, check Youtube videos. If they were to sell this in retail stores in NZ, I would be more comfortable buying it, but right now, dumping almost $400 NZD for a mouse with quality issues and slow support seems like a bad move.
