Explanation: Similar to how a real fire arm functions, GTA5 has a feature that allows slightly pulling the right trigger/R2 on a controller to soft aim. As far as I've been able to find, there are no in-game keybinds or settings that allow a mouse to do the same thing. Soft aiming allows you to aim the weapon (even scoped rifles) while maintaining normal movement speed. Fully pulling the trigger fires the weapon. This is different from aiming normally because it allows no-scoping with sniper rifles, faster aimed movement, and good target acquisition while maintaining a full field of view. This isn't a very commonly used feature because it doesn't lock on to targets the way the normal aiming works with a controller. I have uploaded a video to youtube, showing what I'm talking about.
