Traveling on short notice I just toss my Z2 in my back back and got going. then didnt even open my laptop for 2 days and when I did it wanted a windows up which I did, and now my Z2 wont connect.

but i think at home it was plugged into the dock USB3.0, I honestly don't know if it has ever been plugged directly into the laptop or if it was ever plugged into the USB 3.0 port. but I cant find anything saying it needs 3.0.

when I plug in the mouse the light on the back flashes for a a moment but that is it, the Device manager shows nothing connect to the ports for the SZ for any of the components  for swift point, the ThinkPad pro docking station or z2.

it would make sense if it needed USb 3.0  I'm surprised it has No functionality with a regular USB connection.

and yes I did test the 2 onboard USB with a wireless keyboard connection and it worked fine. 

any thoughts??
