Propoint reverts to default settings when switching to computer without control panel installed

Is there a way to retain the settings (scroll speed, tilt gestures functions etc.) when using the Propoint on a computer without the control panel installed?

The pen grip range is supposed to be for travel which sometimes involves using computers that aren’t your own but some companies are restrictive about installing software. 

It’s a design flaw that it doesn’t retain its last used settings in the absence of the control panel software. Alternatively could the software be online so even if you can’t use the productivity wheel and presentation mode at least you can connect to a computer and quickly load your profile with your settings?
