I'm pretty confident I received a used or refurbed Z3 after purchasing one new. After several days of waiting for the shipment to arrive, the box looked brand new but upon opening it up I thought it was missing tilt feet. In my pouch net there was only the joystick base, the lockout piece, and the multi function piece which is seated for both lockout or tilt. The second piece required for tilt was already attached to the mouse but I didn't realize that because I was trying to attach other feet on top of it. Further, there were no plastic protective coverings on any of the glider feet for all the base attachments and the attachments themselves looked gunky - like they had been used for awhile on someone's crappy mousepad. Further, the unit itself has a very hard time zeroing out the gyro after several calibrations which leads me to believe this was a repackaged return shipped as new after testing.
I'm pretty disgusted by this, given the amount of money I paid and the lengthy wait time. Can anyone else confirm how their new Z3 mice arrived? I'm curious how this thing is packaged and what one is to expect upon unboxing a new unit. I find it improbably that these ship by default with one base component haphazardly attached, the rest thrown in the netting of the case, and the mouse gyro being out of whack. Cannot wait to see how support responds.
