Swiftpoint Z tilt back activating randomly

Swiftpoint Z tilt back activating randomly

I have an issue where the Swiftpoint Z will think it's tilted back all the way randomly. I have the mouse programmed to flash a custom message on the OLED screen, and change the scroll wheel to shift through songs when tilted backwards 17 degrees, and randomly throughout the day, the screen will flash with the custom message, and if I happen to be scrolling, whatever video or song that's playing will skip to a different track.  The issue persists no matter how high I set the activation value, and I notice it happening several times throughout the day. I also have not had this issue with other tilt directions, however I have another issue where the output action programmed into the forward tilt does not activate, however additional inputs/outputs within that tilt direction do; for ex., tilting forward triggers no output, but hitting left click while tilted would print a string or output any other programmed action (this is not a big deal, just thought I'd mention if it helps diagnose the larger issue).

Does anyone have a fix for this or is my mouse just defective? This issue has also persisted throughout several software and firmware updates, and I'm presently on Control Panel 2.0.10.0 and firmware version 1.07, B199D-gd92db. Thanks in advance.
