Swiftpoint Z3 Tilt Getting Stuck / Not Releasing

Swiftpoint Z3 Tilt Getting Stuck / Not Releasing

Hello,

I’ve had my Swiftpoint Z3 for a while now and overall I really like the mouse. However, I’ve been having an ongoing issue with the left and right tilt functions.

The main problem is that the tilt input will sometimes get “stuck.” For example, if the right tilt gets stuck and I return the mouse to a level position, my character in-game will remain leaning to the right. If I open a text document, I can also see that the keyboard hotkey assigned to the right tilt is being continuously sent, almost as though the key is being held down.

Interestingly, if I then tilt the mouse all the way to the left, it will usually release the stuck right-tilt input and my character will return to normal.

I’m also having some reliability issues with the tilt detection itself. The left tilt seems to be the most difficult to activate consistently, while the right tilt is the one that most frequently gets stuck and fails to release.

So far, I have tried:

- Recalibrating the mouse multiple times
- Adjusting the tilt activation angles
- Repositioning the mouse and experimenting with how far I tilt it

Unfortunately, none of those changes have resolved the issue.

I remember that the older Swiftpoint software had an Auto Release feature for outputs. From what I can tell, it appears that functionality may now be built into the current software, but I’m not sure if there is still a setting related to this that I should check.

Are there any additional troubleshooting steps you would recommend? I’m also wondering if there are any surface-related considerations that could affect tilt detection or calibration.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
