Tilt calibration no longer fixes the tilt angles
Recently I’ve been using a significantly skewed desk (the bolts weren’t as tight as I thought they were). After leveling it, I tried to calibrate my Z1, but the progress bar got stuck. I moved the mouse by mistake, and decided I might as well shut down my PC so I could actually try again.
Since that, calibrating takes way less time than it normally does, the mouse does not reconnect after, and it’s still calibrated to an of 1~2° rightward. It does this both on my laptop and my PC.
I’ve tried:
- recalibrating (enough times to remove doubt)
- resetting X1 control panel, and the mouse with it
- resetting the Z by holding left click and right click, and plugging it in. This appeared to reset it, but hasn’t fixed the issue.
I haven’t yet tried opening the mouse to see if maybe something got knocked asunder, but I’m not too keen to. Is there some other method I can try, or do I have to choose between mapping a workaround and replacing the gyro entirely?
