Unable to connect my new SurfacePoint

Unable to connect my new SurfacePoint

Hi,

I purchased the SurfacePoint and received it yesterday.
For some reason I am unable to connect it to my laptop.
This laptop was working with my SwiftPoint GT (which the front button is not working and it is old so I bought the new one).

At present I am not sure why I cannot connect the new device. 
I went through the Q&A and could not find this problem.
