Don't release mouse buttons on profile change fix.

Don't release mouse buttons on profile change fix.

Explanation of the issue this firmware will resolve:

Currently all outputs from the mouse are released whenever its active profile is changed. This is to ensure that no outputs are left stuck-down if they happened to be in a pressed state during the profile switch.  This unfortunately has the undesirable side-effect of requiring a click before you can drag when swapping to/from windows linked to a profile.

As an optional fix for this we have created a custom firmware version which allows mouse outputs to remain pressed during a profile switch (keyboard/joystick outputs will still be released). This fix is optional as it has the downside of occasionally causing mouse buttons to be stuck down after a profile switch (if the switch occurs at the same instant the button was release). When this happens just click the effected button again and it will release.

How to install the fix:

The custom firmware with this change can be installed with X1 Control Panel versions linked below.

Compatible with Current Stable release (3.0.7.0):

Compatible with previous release (3.0.6.0):

Installing one of these and performing the firmware update when prompted should allow you to click and drag within a new window, even through a profile change.

After completing the firmware update, let the Control Panel update itself back to the normal Stable or Beta release. If it tries to overwrite the custom firmware, make sure you have selected the appropriate release channel for the version you downloaded above.

If you want to switch back to the normal firmware, just change release channels, and let it install its normal firmware.
