My mouse is not working in Microsoft Remote Desktop on iOS

If you have paired your ProPoint or GT mouse over Bluetooth with your iOS device and it is not working within your Microsoft Remote Desktop session. Please also ensure that your mouse is enabled in the apps settings as described in below.
  1. Go to the home screen of RD Client.
  2. Open the menu at the top left of the screen to access Settings.

  3. Within settings select Input Devices.

  4. Here you will see a list of devices that have been connected previously, or are connected now. Your mouse should be at the top of the list. if it is not, just tap it and it will move to the top.


On iOS 13 and above also make sure that RD Client has access to Bluetooth devices:
On your iPad / iPhone: Open up Settings app -> RD Client and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
