My pen-grip mouse only works for a few seconds on startup; or gets stuck in the top corners of the screen on macOS

These issues can occur if your Mac previously had the GTs "Swiftpoint Manager" software installed, or currently has it installed.

The Swiftpoint Manager is not compatible with current generation Pen-grip mice, so all trace of it needs to be removed for them to work correctly. Follow the steps below to do this.

If you still have the Swiftpoint Manager Installed:

  1. Launch the Swiftpoint Manager.
  2. Open its Tools menu and select Uninstall Helpers.

  3. Enter your password to complete the uninstall.
  4. Exit the Swiftpoint Manager.
  5. Switch your mouse off and on again. If your mouse still is not working correctly, restart your Mac.

If you no longer have the Swiftpoint Manager Installed:

  1. Navigate to the directory below in Finder.
    1. Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Application Support⁩ ▸ ⁨Swiftpoint⁩
  2. Delete the two Helper files which are shown in the image below.
  3. Switch your mouse off and on again. If your mouse still is not working correctly, restart your Mac.
