When using a ProPoint, PenPoint, or ErgoPoint with the P3 Control Panel on Windows you will have access to the Health section. This includes rest timers to help ensure you are taking enough breaks throughout the day, and lets you view statistics on your activity for the current day.
Rest Timers
There are two rest timers available, Micro-Rest, and Rest Break, along with a Daily Limit timer. Each of these has default values for how much rest you should take over certain time-frame. But both the amount of rest and the time-frame can be customized. Also, each timer can be disabled separately if you prefer not to use them.
There are two rest timers available, Micro Break, and Stretch Break, along with a Daily Limit timer.
The break timers have default values for how much rest you should take
over certain time-frame. But both the amount of rest and the time-frame
can be customized.
For example the
Micro-Rest timer's default setup reminds you to take at least 30 seconds
of rest every 10 minutes. It does this by monitoring your activity over
each 10 minute interval; if less than 1 minute of inactivity was
recorded it will prompt you to take a short break. So if you only paused
for 20 seconds over a 10 minute period, it would prompt you to give
your hands a 10 second break. But if you had already paused for 30
seconds or more it would not prompt you to take a further break yet.
The rest prompt will appear at the bottom right corner of your screen, and will automatically disappear once its time is up, or you can click on it to dismiss it.
Daily Limit
Unlike the other rest timers Daily Limit works over the fixed time-frame of a single day. So it lets you set a cap on the total amount of activity per day. This cap will not prevent you from continuing with your work, it will just let you know once you have reached your set limit.
